We are a network of professionals from Homabay County working in the diaspora round the globe. Some the countries of work represented include UK, USA, Middle East, East/South/East South Africa and Far East countries. The goal is to connect and work together to support development Back Home in our county of Homabay, through Direct Foreign Investments, Donations, networking and soliciting for development AID. Homa Bay County Diaspora Community is registered in Kenya as Community Based Organization (CBO) with its registered offices in Homa Bay Town, in the republic of Kenya

- To mobilize resources from the different parts of the world to help develop Homa Bay county and promote investment
- To lend expertise in the development of our county.
- Enable members investment safely securely in the county.
- To engage in charitable activities within the county.
- Collaborate with and support the county government, local NGOs, CBOs and other organizations locally to foster good governance and development in all sectors of the county economy

Technocrats, experts , educationists, investors and business/women of Homa Bay County in the diaspora have chosen to come together to participate in developement. The many avenuses identified are:
- Croud funding for identified investment opportunities and projects through Foreign direct investements.
- Reaserach and design project concepts based on the knowledge of existing raw resources and invest in such projects.
- Reach out, loby and negotiate with investment partners and venture capitalists globally to help turn around the economy of Homa Bay county.
- Participate in prodcution of raw materials, manaufacturing and processing of goods for local consumtion and export surplus of made in Hoamaby products.
- Take part in governance by seeking inclusion of the diaspora in the county govenance through negotitions, lobbyng and civic procese.
- Particpate in community developement in the existing and new projects initiated by CBOs/NGOs/Governement or any other legal entities within the county.
